Disclaimer: We are not pro- porn or pro-prostitution. (for the wives, moms, grandmas, and crazy aunts)
Can some one tell me what the difference is? And why is one legal and the other not?
Do our laws even logically make sense? It seems to be that all that is required is 2 consenting adults a camera and an intention to sell the video. Then it’s legal to pay for it. Where is the logic? I understand that porn stars get tested, but prostitutes could too and it could be regulated the same and taxed. So why the inconsistency in the logic of our laws?
This crazy ‘too much coffee before the vlog’ Phillip Defranco makes an excellent point about 34 seconds in. It’s a not suitable for minors.

The difference between a porn star and a prostitute is a camera
There are no differences between them, one of them is popular nationwide, the second in neighborhood
She looks so bad in this picture.
There is only one difference between the two. The government gets taxes on one and not on the other. Plus there are some minor things such as prostitution is taboo and porn is more acceptable in society. Pornstars are viewed as more glamorous than prostitutes. Plus if the government took their lawmaking seriously and ban paying for sex, as in prostitution, they would have to ban porn as well, which would make millions angry and all the congressmen would lose their seats.
For everyone who thinks porn is for entertainment purposes only what are you thinking? Do you think Jack on the street looks for a hooker because she is there? Or is he looking for entertainment for a night? Both are for entertainment purposes.
Also on a side note what about escorts? 90% of the time their ‘dates’ end up in the bedroom they’re paid to go with a girl/guy for the night and the date chooses what to do which usually ends up with sex. Same thing as prostitution. Except for the taxing part.
