There is no rational basis for saying a human being has special rights. A rat is a pig a dog is a boy – Ingrid Newkirk, Co-Founder and president of PETA.

What about plants? Can we test on plants? They're alive too.

Ingrid didn’t say that she was against animal research if there was the possibility of an AIDS cure.  She said even if it “resulted in a cure for AIDS”.  I’m beginning to think the these loons who think that they’re so in touch with nature and animals are less in touch that a steak eating Texan.  They like to push the idea that we’re all equal.   But does equal doesn’t mean you won’t get eaten by a big ass bear?  Case settled.  We’re not equal.

All the animals know rules.  Kill or die.  PETA seems to have forgotten this.
