Their main contention seems to be with corporations, greedy rich folks, and Wall Street.   Ironically, they voted these rich entities into their position of market power with their dollars.  Nothing forced them to buy Nike’s, Northface Jackets, Iphones, or trendy jeans; yet there appears to be a smartphone in the hand of every one and a major corporation’s garb covering each protester’s body.   So which rich corporations are they protesting?  The ‘other’ ones that they didn’t happen to have a consumer relationship with?    Maybe the word “hippie” is short for “hypocrite”.

Fearistyranny.com stated this point of hypocrisy best:

Because rage toward “Wall Street” is utter nonsense, I must assume they have a serious–albeit irrational–problem with corporations and/or high net worth or high income people.  They believe rich people and/or corporations are responsible for any extant hardship experienced by “the 99%.” But the rich, the corporations, the Apples, Disneys and Microsofts have exercised no force against us; on the contrary, we have engaged in voluntary exchange with them.  We have voted with our dollars to make their owners wealthier than we are.  The fact that they become so well-to-do that they escape the hardships of the rest of us is unfair, but it is not unjust.  They have not forced us to give them our money.  Any man who gives money to Apple does so because, marginally, he values Apple’s production more than his own–not because Apple has forced him to do so.  If the people must slay a dragon, there is a convenient and sensible target; it is an entity that forces us to give it money and it has a monopoly on force, but it is not headquartered on Wall Street.

Thank you Officer Pike for your outstanding performance.  Without your quick trigger fingers or those sissy college student hippies we could have never had this much fun!  Burn Hippies burn!

What about plants? Can we test on plants? They're alive too.

Ingrid didn’t say that she was against animal research if there was the possibility of an AIDS cure.  She said even if it “resulted in a cure for AIDS”.  I’m beginning to think the these loons who think that they’re so in touch with nature and animals are less in touch that a steak eating Texan.  They like to push the idea that we’re all equal.   But does equal doesn’t mean you won’t get eaten by a big ass bear?  Case settled.  We’re not equal.

All the animals know rules.  Kill or die.  PETA seems to have forgotten this.

All this to convince an organization to gas chickens instead of electrocute them. What a noble Cause.....

Our first “Doodie Pants of the Week” will go these friendly bikini clad PETA protesters.  Following in the image of ‘Laurel and Hardy’ (one biggun’ and one skinny one), their goal was to help everyone understand and empathize the pain that a live chicken can go through if it were boiled alive.  McDonald’s currently uses a water tank electroshock technique that kills the chicken first.  PETA says gassing them is better.  I don’t know what happened to good old fashioned chopping the head off……But, are you serious PETA?  Electrocution or gassing\suffocation?  This is the fight?  What a complete waste of time and resources.  I wonder what effect PETA has had on the world food supply since their creation?
